Shaniya Davis
The wheels of justice sure are moving slowly in the murder case of 5 year old Shaniya Davis. According to the North Carolina Court System, McNeill was scheduled to appear in court on the 3rd January 2011, no details of what this appearance entailed has been released. Additionally, no details of further scheduled court dates are yet available. Regarding Davis, she is scheduled to appear in court on the 2nd February 2011, morning shift in court room 002B , case number 2009CR065834.
Just to recap…
Shaniya was reported missing by her biological mother Davis, from her Fayetteville home on November 10th 2009. Her body was found in a patch of kudzu off a rural road near the Lee-Harnett County line six days later. An autopsy determined that Shaniya died of asphyxiation and that injuries she suffered were consistent with a sexual assault. A medical examiner noted in the autopsy that investigators believe the girl was used to pay off a drug debt. McNeill was captured on CCTV at hotel with Shaniya on the day of her reported disappearance and was subsequently arrested, as was Davis.
MARIO ANDRETTE MCNEILL is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping of Shaniya
ANTOINETTE DAVIS, Shaniya’s biological mother, is charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse - prostitution, filing a false police report and obstructing a police investigation.

how did this wast of life get a bond? such a heart breaking story but it happens alot.hard drugs are so bad. i wish death on all involved but i bet the child still loves her mother and wouldn’t want anything to happen to her. bet she dont get over 25 years. be suprized if the killer gets death.she was such a pretty sweet little girl.

I want death sentence for both of them. Shaniya devis elevator pic still haunts me. Why is it taking so long to cut the murderers head. These type of people should be put to death right away no waiting . Anyone who harms a child does not have a right to live in my books.

I have not heard an update court date concerning these two sob. One thing for sure I pray that some one would cut off the balls of Mcneil and allow Davis to eat them .She is not even fit to be called a mother unless you add another word to it

I am using this case as a class assignment for my Criminal law class. Just wanted to say she is remembered =)
Also, shouldn’t the witch have got First degree also murder also? She was a in on the trafficking, kidnapping and rape which resulted in the murder.

This is ridiculous. I feel that people should flood the prosecutors office with calls asking about this case. They need to know that people are still concerned and want justice for Shaniya. Does anyone knows if her father is fighting for justice. I know that he moved out of state. Overall, does anyone in family wants justice or have they forgotten. They should seek help from the media or something!!!! Both Antoinette and Mario need to spend time the rest of their lives behind bars.

The time has come to punish both of them. If thIS county isn’t qualified to do this, then let the feds take the case over. Children are treated like second class citizens in America. I’m from Virginia and the two of them would have been to convicted and on their way to the electric chair with a date. Please speed up the process to give this angel justice.

Children and animals dont pay taxes so politicians dont care enough to do anything the crimes involving either. What else can I say. These people make me sick and I wish they too were dead. Guess thats bad to say. But I sit here a mom…and OMG what a sick, sick nightmare to endure. Done know all the other cases but there are plenty goin on right now all over the world. sometimes I just pray for God to give them peace…cause I know it wont go away… just so sad :**( I know tears do no good, but I cant help it.

Somebody please help Shaniya…I think about her often as if she was my baby…the elevator scene stays in my mind and brings tears to my throat Lord pleases help Shaniya I love this little girl and my heart goes out to her father….He should be trying to do something about this…If it were me and the mother was out on bond I would probably shoot her dead le Samuel Jackson did those two in ‘A time to Kill’ it would surely be a time to kill now wouldn’t

I still shed tears as well. What people need to do is contact the DA in Fayetteville,N.C. and find out what the hell is going on with this case. I am not in favor of the death penalty but in certain cases I’m willing to make an exception and this is one of thos e cases. I never thought that I could participate in the hanging of a black man in the South but I do believe I could supply the rope and sleep like a baby that night because their are 2 less savages on this earth. I have no children but I have a god daughter who just turned six and I just can’t imagine her trying to fight off a grown so called man and not understanding what is happening to her. An adult with a developed brain at least knows whats going on but a 5 year old? I just can’t imagine what the last 90 seconds of her little life must have been like and that elevator scene is burned in my memory forever. For me this was like the Emmitt Till that showed Blacks just how evil some whites could be towards us. The Shaniya Davis situation should show us just how evil we can be towards each other and it shoud be every bit the wake up call that Emmitt Till was. These savages need to die and the sooner the better. We need to email or call the DA and demand swift justice for this little princess.

I stumbled across a group discussing the lack of progress in the case several days. An individual had questioned a Fayetteville media outlet on the issue and posted up their response. The gist was that murder cases typically take up to four years to reach conclusion.

I hope the state are seeking the death penalty in both cases. I would like the mother to be tried for the death penalty, because if she wouldn’t have let her daughter go then that little girl would still be alive. And that piece of shit that raped and murdered her i hope that when he’s in the showers Bubba Bends him over and shove’s the biggest object he can find up this mother fucker’s arse.

Every time i look at that little girls picture my heart aches. Poor shaniya what did she ever do to anyone. When things like this happen, i often think to myself if there were a god then he can.t be very nice to let this happen. What sort of a mother would hand over her own flesh and blood to a man for a drug debt. She knew why he wanted her. What did she think, he was gonna take her to disneyland. If she doesn’t get the death penalty then the law has let that little girl down and that waste of skin that murdered her, i hope everyday of his life he gets some form of violence committed on him everyday that he has left on this planet. One can only hope!!!
