Sunday Express inform us that Dr Kate McCann is to publish a revised edition of her best selling book ‘madeleine’ this spring; just in time for what would have been Madeleine’s 9th birthday.  The book has earned Drs McCann in excess of two million pounds thus far.  It is suggested that the book will delineate Scotland Yard’s review of the case.  Scotland Yard’s approach was to “examine the case and seek to determine, (as if the abduction occurred in the UK) what additional, new investigative approaches” could be taken and how these might assist the Portuguese authorities. On this basis one might expect the revised edition to fill the lacunae on the matter of evidence and factual information of abduction.

Dr Kate hopes that the book, which peddles the tale of how her daughter was abducted from a holiday apartment whilst she dined with her husband and friends a distance away, will be a hit with this seasons holiday maker.  She also hopes that it will provide “that key piece of the jigsaw.”. Until the jigsaw is complete of course, what really happened to Madeleine remains a mystery.
